Tackle Attendance Policy

The WAYS tackle football program requires a strong commitment from both players and families throughout the fall season. While we understand that occasional conflicts may arise, players are expected to prioritize their team and provide advance communication with coaches whenever conflicts occur.

Excused absences (with coach discretion) include:

• Academic commitments
• Religious obligations
• Medical reasons (With an official doctor's note)

Unexcused Absences & Consequences

• One (1) unexcused practice: Playing time for that week’s game will be determined at the discretion of the Head Coach.
• Two (2) unexcused practices: Results in no play in that week's game.
• Missed practice or game without proper communication: May result in suspension from practice and/or play, at the coach’s discretion.
• Repeated violations: Continuous neglect of these guidelines may result in forfeiture of the player’s roster spot and possible sanctions regarding future participation in the program.
