About us
The Wylie Area Youth Sports is a non-profit organization offering football, basketball, and cheer programs for children ages 4 to 13 in the Wylie community. It supports access to sports through registration fees, community donations, scholarships, and sponsorships for families in need.
The league emphasizes teaching sports fundamentals while promoting self-worth, teamwork, leadership, and overall child development, including physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. It also encourages positive social interaction, respect, pride in community, and a strong, respectful team spirit.
Our community & Values
Wylie Area Youth Sports (WAYS) is proud to serve families in the Wylie ISD school district and surrounding communities, including Parker, Lucas, Rowlett, Sachse, Lavon, Garland, and Murphy.
Our volunteer coaches—many of whom are parents themselves—are the heartbeat of our program. They dedicate their time and energy to helping athletes improve their skills and grow in confidence.
