Background Check

Youth recreational nonprofit organizations carry the important responsibility of providing safe, supportive, and enjoyable environments for children and teens. Because these programs place adult staff and volunteers in positions of trust and direct interaction with youth, background checks are an essential safeguard.

This includes coaches, assistant coaches, referees, board members, and other adult participants. These checks help identify individuals with histories of violent crimes, sexual offenses, or other conduct that may put children at risk.
