Wylie Tackle Football
Wylie Football is a non-profit youth program dedicated to serving the Wylie community. We proudly offer children in 2nd through 6th grade the opportunity to play tackle football in a safe, structured, and positive environment.
Being part of a non-profit sports league means our focus is on player development, community, and accessibility, not profit. We strive to keep costs affordable, provide scholarship opportunities, and reinvest all funds back into the program to give our athletes the best possible experience.

GRADES
2nd grade-6th grade
When
The season begins in August and runs through November.
GAMES
Games are held at Jerry Shaffer Stadium on Saturdays. There will be 4 home games and 4 away games.
PRACTICES
Practices are held at Founder's Park 2 days a week. Coaches will pick their practice days and times.

All of our teams are coached by volunteers, and we are always in need of Coaches and Assistant Coaches. All coaches must be at least 18-years old or older, pass a background check, and be willing to commit their time and effort to a team for the entire season.
Registration may close early if all spots are filled and we can find coaches for new teams. Please consider volunteering your time for the upcoming season.

What is the cost of registration?

Can nonresidents play tackle football?
Since joining Premier Lakes, we are now a Wylie ISD-based league. What does that mean? The majority of the kids must be from Wylie, Sachse, or Murphy and/or go to a Wylie ISD school.
We will offer a limited number of openings for players outside of the area.
What is included in the registration fee?
Uniform: 2 jerseys, 1 pair of pants, helmet decals, and a drawstring bag.
