Wylie Flex Football
Flex Football is the ideal football program for young athletes looking to grow in all areas of the game. Unlike traditional flag football, Flex involves ALL positions — not just the skill players. This allows every athlete to develop real football techniques, timing, and team schemes in a safer, non-tackle format. Flex Football bridges the gap between flag and tackle football, giving athletes the foundation they need to succeed at the next level.

ROSTERING
Rostering is as follows: Grades 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8.

Wylie flex football is played March-May.
PRACTICES
Teams practice 2 times per week. Your coach will determine practice days. All practices are held at Founder's Park in Wylie, TX.
Where
All flex games are played on Friday nights at Founder's Park in Wylie, TX.
GAMES
All games are played on Friday nights at Founder's Park. There may be some weeknight games as well.

Each player will receive a full uniform set, including a reversible jersey and matching shorts.

WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED FOR FLEX FOOTBALL?
Soft shell helmets, Soft shell shoulder pads (optional), and mouth guards must be worn at all times, and rubber cleats are recommended for outdoor play.

HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE ON A FLEX FOOTBALL TEAM?
Nine players are on the field at a time for each participating Flex Football team. A team size of 14-16 players is recommended.
